Present in over 100 countries on 5 continents, Produits Dentaires S.A. has created, over the years, an extensive distribution network of agents, wholesale dealers and dental depots. Thanks to our partners, «PD» brand products have gradually gained international repute, synonymous with Swiss Quality at its best.

Turning to the future: research and development

Reinforcing its capacity to creating highly innovative products in order to comply with the needs of today's fast changing and demanding market in dentistry, Produits Dentaires S.A. has created its own R&D platform, ODUS Technologies S.A., a young company specialized in the development and transfer of technologies of medical devices.

PD VitalOs Cement®, a synthetic bone grafting cement, is the first available product from a range of devices covering implantation and endodontics.

A broad spectrum of some 500 items

As well as specializing in the production of medical devices and medicines for endodontics, Produits Dentaires S.A. also offers a wide range of products and instruments in fields as varied as orthodontics, prophylaxis, restoration, prosthetics and periodontology.

As a result, the company can offer dentists a range of over 500 items for regular use, including some 50 pharmaceutical preparations.

Certification

Founded in 1940 and backed by over 65 years of solid experience in the production and distribution of dental instruments, medicaments and medical devices, Produits Dentaires S.A. is proud to step into the new millennium flying the colours of internationally recognized and certified Quality Assurance.

The Quality Assurance Management certificates, SN EN ISO 9001/2000, ISO 13485/2003 and Directive 93/42/EEC (CE marking) were initially accredited to the company in 1997.

Still more exacting quality standards are implemented for the manufacture of pharmaceutical preparations where the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, set by the international Pharmaceutical Inspections Convention (PIC), as well as the "Swiss Directives for the Manufacture of Medicines", are met. The fact that Produits Dentaires S.A. complies with these standards shows our permanent commitment to the highest quality, not only in production but also in the services offered.
